About
My name is Loïc Gilbert, and I’m an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) based in western France. By day, I work as a software engineer, but in my free time, I channel my creativity into designing original Lego creations.
My work often explores themes like science fiction, post-apocalyptic worlds, and the surreal, as well as nature and architecture. As a passionate photographer, I take great care in presenting my builds, sometimes designing with the final shot already in mind.
I’m an active member of Brickouest LUG and participate in several exhibitions each year. I also contribute to the Brickpirate forum team by organizing building contests.
This blog is a space to showcase my creations and share insights into my creative process. Occasionally, I may post articles on Lego design and photography more generally.
You can follow my work on Instagram and Flickr. If you wish to order a custom creation, I’m open for comissions. For custom commissions, or any other question, feel free to reach out via the contact form.
